The Fishing Areas:
The boat is surveyed for fishing from "North Cape" "Whangaroa" "Bay of Islands" "Cape Brett" to the"Poor Knights" . We will be fishing where the fish are.
Charters Details:
We supply all fishing gear for game fishing. We prefer the charter to bring the food for the trip although we can supply food if required at $40 per day per person. Bring your own sleeping bag or for overseas visitors we can supply bedding. This is to be arranged on booking. We are surveyed for 12 people on daytrips but only take 10 with max. 5 fishing at a time for your comfort . For live aboard fishing trips, we take a maximum of 4 anglers.
Departure Ports:
Our home port is the Bay of Islands but departure depends on where we are fishing at the time. As gamefish migrate up and down our coast we like to follow the fish. This increases the odds of a successful trip. We will advise you before the trip which area we are fishing.
The Season:
The billfishing season for the large gamefish is January through to May.
Tagging:
We support tag and release but this is the anglers choice. We can arrange to have your fish smoked.
Costs:
Game fishing from Northlands eastern ports from $1750 per day. (GST Inc)
Fishing the North Cape area $1950 per day. (GST Inc). For this area you need at least 4 days.
For more then a 1 day charter, staying on board the night prior to the trip may be possible. Contact Tony
On day fishing trips we take up to 5 anglers and overnight trips we take up to 4 anglers. Contact Tony about the number of extra non fishers allowed as observers.
Sight seeing trips all year round:
These are trips arranged to suit you and your family or friends. Just ring Tony to organise your overnight, day or part day trip.
On a sight seeing trip you can cruise the Bay of Islands or the beautiful coastal bays that this coast is famous for.You will see local marine and bird life in their own habitat, snorkel if you wish, catch a fish for dinner or just relax.
We can take up to 10 people on day or part day trips and the cost for about 4 hours is from $ 550. Overnight, we can take up to 5
Snapper fishing:
For day fishing trips the cost is $200 per person ( min 5 fishers). All fishing gear and bait supplied
Sole charter, $950 per day.
Kingfish:
These trips are for about 7 hours and cost $900 sole charter. Hapuku fishing can be arranged, we have a large freezer so you can take some fish home. These trips suit up to 4 people.

That if you land a marlin over 300 kg with us, your day's fishing is free!!!
And that if you catch a snapper over 10 kg we will refund you $50 or give you a discount voucher valued at $100 towards your next trip, or a Hapuku or kingfish over 20 kg for the same deal.
